Senior Citizen Center

The mission of the Walton-Okaloosa Council On Aging (WOCOA) is to assist the older population in need to remain independent with dignity in their own home environment and to serve as an advocate for those who have no one to speak on their behalf.  This dual mission is accomplished through a variety of direct services. WOCOA provides 4 broad segments of services, which are Nutritional Services, In-Home Services, Social Services and Various Recreational Activities.

The nutritional program is probably the most visible service provided. These services include Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meals service. In-Home services include personal care, homemaking, respite or Alzheimer’s Disease Day Care & Respite. The recreational activities varies per center with bingo, art classes, computer classes, speakers or other activities according to the center’s request.
